Hi, I’m Hayden!
I perform character comedy, sketch, and stand-up; my favourite art form is improvisation.
I’ve taught since 2019 after studying at Improv Theatre Sydney (ITS) and overseas at the iO Theatre in Chicago.
Drawing inspiration from the vibrant energy of Chicago-style long-form improv, I’ve crafted my approach to spontaneous and deeply connected comedy.
This style drives the beloved TINYPROV, the improv duo showcase show I tour all over the place.
The success of the sketch comedy showcase show ITS Sketchibition I co-created in partnership with Improv Theatre Sydney means that the approach works in written and produced comedy too.
From comedy festivals in Aussie comedy corners to far-flung places in the US, UK, and Europe, I’ve mingled, performed, and learned from some of the best in the improv biz.
I always come back to teaching though; I find such joy in it.
I infuse my classes and workshops with the spirit of improv that I enjoy most: dynamic, engaging, and undeniably collaborative.
It’s a space of shared laughter, discoveries, and unscripted magic.
Off the stage, you might find me working the tech desk or capturing the night’s best moments behind a camera lens.
